Tonight Shirley got her clear liquid dinner tray. On this tray was a popsicle. She was so excited. So she ate it. An hour later she was sick. It all came back up. It was so depressing. She had to get heavily medicated to get rid of her nausea. When I left, she was sleeping very deeply. But still sick.
So, we will see what the doctors say tomorrow. :(

Teresa, Thank you for your dedication to keeping friends and family updated on Shirley's status. I am saddened to hear Shriley isn't doing well. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to have dinner with Shirley about 5 weeks ago. Shirley looked great, we had great conversation and shared a few laughs. Shirley talked about her family and her dogs. I could tell she shares an incredible bond with those she loves. I hope to get to go see Shirley in the coming days if the weather will cooperate. Until then, please tell her Posey says hi and that I'm thinking about her and praying for her and the family.
Love you all - so praying that Shirley gets to go home soon. There's no place like home.
