Lunch With Kathy

We just had a delicious lunch...gyros and salads. Just what I needed today...Kathy and good food. We laughed and really had a good time.

But the best part about it is she bought me this new book that I had heard about. It's called "The Shack". It's supposed to help somewhat with the healing process and also very spiritual. I am excited to read it. Thank you Kathy. She also got one so we now have our 2 member book club.

Have a great day!

that is great theresa that you and kathy can enjoy lunch together. I know how great it is to have a sister especially a twin someone to talk to and share a laugh.
things here are a litle hectic as Gram Geary is in her final days and Jan at the hospital most ot the time as she is on the hospice floor.
Karen's husband was a lucky man yesterday as he fell 30 feet from a tv tower he broke 3 ribs and punchered a lung he was so lucky as it could have been so much worse.
give everyone there my love and will chat another day.
love, Aunt Connie

Hey Teresa,
I haven't had a chance to get on the blog for a couple days but I'm really glad you were able to go get that picture of the two of you! :) That's so neat that she still had that and it wasn't something that got buried with other things. Also your new dog is so cute and I love his name lol :) my parents got a new dog too...kind of another rescue, she is a black minature schnauzer and her name is Rosie. It was kind of soon to get another dog after Penelope, but it was just so quiet over there and Frank and I felt really bad for my mom and dad. So Frank & I ended up finding Rosie. They love her and I agree that dogs are good therapy. :) Well I hope you have a good night.

Love ya,
Tracy

Teresa-
"The Shack" is a really good book. You may find yourself looking at what we have been taught, conditioned over the years.

I am glad you kept the blog, will be great therapy for you and others!

I was thinking of this today and wanted to comment on it. I have an amazing roommate/best friend and she was buttering her bread and I started to laugh. She asked what I was laughing at and I explained that she buttered her bread just like my Aunt Shirley. Every little spot had to be covered. I remember when my dad and I realized she did that one summer. She offered to make sandwiches and it was taking longer than dad and I expected and we walked over to see what was going on and every little spot on the bread had mayo on it and then she threw some potato chips on it. Dad and I laughed at the memory when I brought it up. She sure could make us smile. I love you Aunt Shirley, know you are watching over all of is. Thank you for that. Love my family in Kansas and West Virginia miles apart but united in heart. Love you.
