Hey, I know this website is for our girl Shirley. But I just wanted to get the word out that I think my dad could use a few of our prayers too. His poor back causes him so much pain. And he has some tests coming up in the next week. So let's all add dad to the prayer list also.

I have two wonderful and smart Children Sam (15) and Alex (13) both are very helpful. I love what I do as Systems Project Manager -enhance Billing Systems that benefit who uses them. Also have the best family in the world with 2 brothers and 3 sisters and a Great Mom and Dad that make life so much easier. Not to mention the support I get from so many of my friends and other family!

Hey all,
I don't know if you all remember me but my name is Todd Chaffin and I attended Piper back in the day - 1982. I was closer in age to Tom but I also knew Shirley. I would like to leave you with this thought. I havn't always served God and early in my my life I was leading a very self destructive life. However, I believe that God was watching over me. About eighteen years ago I became a christian. Since becoming a christian, I learned from experience, that we serve a big God and nothing is impossible for Him. I will be praying and believing in a complete healing for Shirley and if you don't mind I would like to put her on the prayer chain at our church. By the way I heard about this site on Classmates.com and would like to continue to be a part of this blog.

I haven't talked to you since graduation...it seems like soooo long ago..Anyway, I don't know what all is going on with you, but I will DEFINATELY put you in my prayers. Hang in there girl...we'll all be thinking about you.

You are sooooo right, prayers can do wonders, and of course, you have mine. This whole family is made up of really awesome and special people, and it is my pleasure to know some of you...(the poker players, the ball players...:-))
And the best part, you all have each other, and that is God giving you strength and love through each other and for each other.
